Burl | Moss Embroidery

Part of a collection. A multi-media artwork featuring a foraged, wooden knot. The piece features embroidery and crochet techniques on printed cotton. Artist used acrylic yarn, natural fibre wool, felt, and  embroidery floss. This piece is set in a 5” embroidery hoop.

This item is backed with felt and finished with an artist tag. Ready to hang or display. This design is my own creation and is stitched by hand by a single artist.

• 5”/12cm round hoop, acrylic brown finish on bamboo hoop
• Hand stitched on recycled cotton fabric, layered with crochet, felt, and embroidery floss
• Stitched with DMC embroidery floss
• Protect from dust, water and direct sunlight to keep in good condition

This piece is currently on display as part of my “Moss Gallery” collection; the display is hanging through November and December 2023. Any purchase made while the piece is on display will be delivered after this time (contact artist for timeline)
